Manchester Pride
Heaton has confirmed that he will be playing a live set at this year's Manchester Pride Festival.  He will be performing a selection of tracks including an exclusive performance of his new single '2 minus 1' (which is released the same day)

The show, which takes place on Monday 31st August, looks set to be one of Heaton's biggest ever shows and will include a band and dancers joining him on stage.  This year's festival looks set to be one of the biggest yet with acts like FrankMusik, Little Boots and the Freemasons sharing the stage.

New Single
We can also confirm that Heaton will be releasing his brand new single 2 Minus 1 on the same day (31/08/09).  The new track was co-written and recorded with London based Nick Rumbelow.  The 2 discovered each other's music online several months ago and have been busy writing and recording new material since then.  A preview of the new track will be available online over the coming weeks.

To celebrate the release we have launched an online remix contest to discover and showcase some new remix talent.  The best 3 mixes will appear on the iTunes digital release of the single.  For more information contact info@heatonmusic.com
